These clients in Derby were desperately in need of a new roof. Our crew removed the old shingles and installed all new Owens Corning shingles in the color, story gray. The homeowners loved the results and so do we!

Cleaning all the old moss off of this old shed roof! Moss growth is a common roof issue we help homeowners with on a daily basis!

On this roof there was a lot of algae build up and color fade. Over time the algae on roofs eat away the UV protective layer which causes the shingles to fade faster than normal. The Abate family decided to go with our IKO Dynasty Brownstone Shingles which perfectly pairs with their beige siding. We also repaired their damaged trim and color matched it to the rest of the house.

For this home, our team replaced the roof and installed gutters. The roof was not in the worst condition, the shingles still had some life in them but they were fully covered in lichen and algae and this compromised them. Due to the lichen and a leaky flashing around the chimney the decking layer started to rot and needed to be replaced. We replaced the decking layer and laid down an Underlayment along with Ice and Water and this ensures that their roof would not leak again even if water somehow got through the shingles. This customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Shadow Brown Shingles. By the end of the day, they had a brand new roof that is guaranteed to keep them safe and dry for the next 50 years.
