We installed a metal roof on this home in Salisbury, CT. The steps to installing a metal roof are fairly similar to installing a shingle roof. First, we rip up the old shingles and take a look at the existing decking layer and determine if it's reusable. For this job, we were able to reuse the layer. All the plywood sheets were in good shape. Next, we lay down an underlayment and Ice and Water. These layers act as an extra layer of protection and insulation for the home. In case the shingles are penetrated by anything these layers can help plug or seal the hole until proper repairs can be made. Finally, we install the metal roof. Our roofs are interlocking and they overlap so the seams are nearly invisible. This roof transformed the look of this home and truly increased the curb value of it.
The Brown Roofing team installed 225 feet of snow rails on this metal roof. The crew color matched the new rails to the color of the existing roof, Classic Bronze. These new rails match the roof perfectly, and are sure to keep this home safe during winter weather.
This building's roof had significant damage, and needed a replacement. The Brown Roofing team replaced this old and worn roof with new metal roofing. The roofing material used for this replacement is the color Antique Bronze.
