It was time for a roof replacement for our customer in Stamford. They called in the Brown Roofing team to help. Our crew began this job by removing the old shingles. These old shingles were growing moss and lichen, and had visible staining, likely due to algae. The new IKO Dynasty shingles installed by our team have built in algae resistance that will help prevent future algae staining. This customer chose the shingle color Granite Black. 

The Brown Roofing team gave this chimney in Stamford a total makeover. Our crew got to work removing the old chimney caps, chimney crown, and mortar from this chimney. Fresh mortar was applied, a new chimney crown was poured, and new chimney caps were installed. Thanks to our incredible team, this chimney will look and preform better than ever!

IKO Dynasty AR - Granite Black Shingles

Our team took care of this home's leaky roof and algae-covered shingles. On the outside, the roof of this home seemed to be in decent condition but it turned out to be worse than we expected. After we got the green light to start working we ripped up the old shingles and took a closer look at the decking layer. In many areas there was rot and mold growth. This was caused by the old shingles, believe it or not, as they age they shrink due to wear and tear and this shrinkage causes gaps in between the shingles allowing for water to leak in. Due to the rot, we replaced the decking layer and once this was done we laid down Sealeron Ice and Water along with a Synthetic underlayment, this layer adds an extra layer of protection and also helps insulate the home. Finally, we installed our IKO Dynasty Frostone Gray Shingle. With this brand-new roof, this homeowner can be confident that there will be no more leaks or mold in their home.

The crew replaced these old weathered shingles with brand new IKO Dynasty shingles in the color of Frostone Gray.
