Roof Before Replacement
David's roof was starting to show its age, with faded shingles and a worn appearance. It was the perfect time to upgrade to modern, more durable materials.

Stripping Off the Shingles
The first step in removing the old roof is stripping the shingles from the plywood, known as the roof decking-the structural base of the roof. Once the shingles are removed, the crew thoroughly inspects the decking for any signs of rot, damage, or mold.

Deck Tape & Underlayment Is Applied
Our expert crew confirmed that David's roof decking was in excellent condition and none of it needed to be replaced. To reinforce its strength, they seal the seams between the plywood sheets with heavy-duty deck tape. After that, they apply the underlayment. This is a thin, waterproof material that protects the roof from rain, snow, and ice.

Shingles Are Installed
After the underlayment is applied to the entire decking, the crew can begin installing the shingles. These IKO Dynasty shingles are crafted from premium, state-of-the-art materials and are built to last decades.
