Missing Shingles
This old roof was worn down, and had some missing shingles. Weakened and missing shingles leave the roof vulnerable to damages from the elements.
Shingle Removal
Our crew members used long tarps fixed to the bottom of the roof in order to collect all of the shingles, and protect the face of the house from falling debris. These tarps also help prevent a mess, and allow our crew to quickly and easily remove the shingles from the property.
Revealing the Wood Decking
Once all of the singles have been removed, the wood decking underneath is revealed. Our crew searches for damages to the wood, and replaces these areas with new plywood.
Underlayment and Shingles
Our crew has installed Ice and Water Shield onto the roof, which will protect this wood from being damaged by water. When all of the underlayment had been installed, the roof was ready for its new shingles. Our crew installs the shingles from bottom to top, overlapping the shingles.
Amazing New Look
The new IKO Dynasty shingles, in the color Cornerstone, add dimension and interest to the appearance of this home. In addition, ridge vents have been added to the three ridges of this house. These vents will allow hot air to escape the attic, preventing condensation and mold.
