Before the Roof Replacement
The old shingles on this roof were visibly aged. This was sign that the shingles were not in great shape, and weren't fully capable of protecting this home.
The Crew Removes the Shingles
In this photo our team is scraping off the old shingles from each section of this roof. The section over the porch will be shingled, and the large flat section will have flat roofing installed.
Installing Underlayment
This photo shows our crew members installing underlayment onto the roof. The white underlayment on the roof is our Ice and Water Shield. This will keep water away from the wood decking, and prevent water damage.
The Flat Roofing Section
Our crew has finished installing new IKO Dynasty shingles onto the sloped areas of the roof. Now, they are adding the finishing touches to the flat roof. This area of the roof cannot have shingles. Due to the minimal slope of the roof, water will not move off of the roof fast enough, and could damage the shingles. This is why flat roofing was the right choice for this customer's home.
Wonderful Result
This home looks great thanks to a new roof install from the Brown Roofing team! The shingled areas of the new roof were created with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Summit Gray.
