The Old Roof
This customer decided it was time to get rid of their old roof. They chose the experts at Brown Roofing to install their new roof.
Removing All of the Old Shingles
Here our crew is scraping off all of the existing shingles, and removing the old wood decking. They use long tarps to collect the debris, and easily haul it away without making a mess.
Off to a Good Start
Now the new wood decking is being installed. This layer of plywood will be the base of the entire roof, and will need to be well protected. This bright and damage free wood decking will help get this roof off to a good start.
Installing the Underlayment
In order to protect the new wood decking, our crew installed underlayment. The first step is to tape all of the edges of the new sheet of plywood with decking tape. This tape seals the joints of the wood decking, preventing any water from seeping in. The white material on the bottom of the roof is a layer of our Ice and Water Shield, which will keep this roof safe and dry.
Time for New Shingles
