Roof and Siding Replacement in Terryville, CT

Challenge

This Terryville homeowner had been dealing with a leaky roof for quite some time when they reached out to Brown Roofing. Upon inspection, we found the condition of the roof was quite poor and the whole thing needed to be replaced. Further on in the process, we discovered that the homeowners wanted a whole home makeover with new siding and a deck replacement. They also had uncomfortable bedrooms that would get really hot in the summer, and really cold in the winter. Being in business so long, we were able to solve all of the customer's needs conveniently and professionally.

Solution

We replaced the roof with an Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing system, which comes along with a 50-year warranty. The color looks great with the new siding, and the copper flashings add a really nice touch to the overall style of the roof. Now, we don't build a lot of decks but are happy to meet any of our customers' needs. We work with master carpenters who were able to install this deck in a weekend. Now they have plenty of room to go outside as a family and enjoy their lake view. In order to address the customers' concerns about the uncomfortable bedrooms, we added ventilation to the porch on the front of the house. This way cold air would not get trapped in there in the winter, and hot air would not get trapped in the summer. This will help keep the floors, walls, and air at a more enjoyable temperature.
