**Brown Roofing Announces 2024 Roofing For Humanity Recipient**

Brown Roofing is thrilled to announce the recipient of this year’s Roofing For Humanity project, an initiative committed to giving back to deserving families within our community. After reviewing many heartfelt submissions, the decision was made to award Larry Protsko and his family a brand-new, 50-year roof which will be installed on June 11th, 2024.

Larry Protsko, a respected member of the Monroe community, along with his family, has a long history of selflessly serving those around him. The legacy of service began with his late wife, Bonnie Protsko, who dedicated over 12 years as both a volunteer and an instructor for the Monroe EMS and served in various ways within the Monroe and Easton police departments for over 15 years before her retirement. Her spirit of giving has lived on through her family. Their daughter has continued to contribute to the community as a bus driver for the local school district for the past 12 years, in addition to assisting neighbors with household tasks. Even at a young age, her son Mason works weekends to help support the family.

Larry’s roof started to leak over 4 years ago and up until now he has tried to resolve this with small repairs but this was never a permanent fix a few years later they eventually put up a heavy-duty tarp and this stopped the leaking but once again this is not a permanent solution. One day he was listening to the radio and heard Eddie Griffin talking about our Roofing For Humanity program and decided to enter. As of June 11, 2024, Larry will have a brand new roof on his home that is guaranteed to last for the next 50 years, and our warranty is not just any manufacturer's warranty it is a promise from Brown Roofing, from Eddie Griffin that we will take care of each and every customer like they are our own family because they are.

We look forward to continuing our support for the community and are excited for the future stories we can help unfold through our initiative.
