Commercial Roofing Project in Beacon Falls, CT

Challenge

This Beacon Falls business owner called Brown Roofing because their roof would leak everytime it rained, and they were worried about having their important documents, equipment, and office supplies damaged. Once we got up on the roof, the inspector, Eddie Griffin noticed sagging in the roof and a weak decking, especially around the eaves. The business owners did not want the damage to get any worse, so they decided to move forward with the project. And it's a good thing they did. You will see in the pictures below how bad of shape the roof was actually in.

Solution

Brown Roofing has been in Naugatuck for over 45 years, so this customer knew there was only one option to do this project correctly. Since it was important for the customer to make sure thaty no water would EVER come back into their workspace, we replaced out all of the rotted wooden decking before moving forward with installing the insulation board. After the insulation board was properly installed, we installed the rubber top layer of the roof. The reflective surface will help keep heat off of the roof to keep the building cooler in the summer.
