The House Before
Here's what William's house looked like before the makeover. Click through to see the beautiful transformation!

Old Siding Is Removed
The first step is removing the old siding. This reveals the plywood layer underneath, which is called the sheathing.

Ready for Renovation
The bright blue material you're seeing is called the vapor barrier. This thin, water-resistant membrane has been adhered to the sheathing to shield it from moisture damage. Since it is not compromised and removing it would cause unnecessary harm to the plywood underneath, it stays in place.

Insulation Is Installed
A strong layer of insulation is installed over the entire house. This thick polystyrene foam provides thermal protection as well as extra protection from moisture damage.

The House After
Next, the new siding goes up! For William's house, our crew installed high-quality ProVia Cedar Peaks vinyl siding in his selected color of Nightfall. With that, William's home makeover is officially complete!
