Before: Front View
Gloria's roof was showing clear signs that it was time for a replacement, with significant moss and lichen growth. This indicated that water had seeped into the shingles, and the moss was trapping the moisture, causing further damage.

Shingles Are Removed & Decking Is Examined
The first step is to remove the old shingles, revealing the plywood underneath, known as the roof decking. The roof decking serves as the structural framework of the roof, so our crew carefully inspects it for signs of rot, decay, or mold. Any damaged sections are promptly removed and replaced with fresh, new plywood.

Underlayment Is Applied
Our experts assessed the decking and found it in excellent condition, so no replacements were needed. Next, the crew moves forward with installing a layer of underlayment across the entire decking. This thin, water-resistant material provides added protection against rain, snow, and ice. After the underlayment is fully applied, it's time to start installing the shingles.

The Finished Product
The crew installs our IKO Dynasty premium laminated shingles in Mary's selected color, Granite Black. A ridge vent is added at the top to ensure proper ventilation, while flashing is applied around the chimney to ensure no more leaks. Once everything is in place, the roof is complete!
