The Roof Before
Here's what Andrew's roof looked like from the front before the renovation. Click through to see the awesome transformation!

Prepping for the Teardown
This aerial view gives a better look at the wear and tear Andrew's roof has weathered over the years. To kick things off, the crew sets up protective structures like plywood barriers and tarps to ensure the property is fully shielded. It's all about keeping everything safe and damage-free while the real work begins!

The Teardown Begins
With all of the structures and tarps set up the crew starts carefully strips off all the old shingles. Underneath the shingles is a layer of plywood, which is called the roof sheathing.

Underlayment Is Installed
As an added layer of defense, the crew installs underlayment over the entire roof surface-a thin, water-resistant membrane designed to shield the sheathing from moisture, whether it's rain, wind, snow, ice, or anything else the weather throws its way.

Drip Edge Flashing Is Installed
With the underlayment fully in place, a drip edge flashing is installed on the edges of the entire roof. This metal strip directs water away from the fascia and into the gutters, preventing water damage and ice dam formation.

New Shingles Are Installed
Next, it's finally time to install the new shingles! To beautifully complement his home, Andrew has selected the stunning Monaco Red from our premium-laminated IKO Dynasty collection.

Chimney Flashing
The cricket and flashing are securely installed around the chimney, creating a watertight barrier that directs water away from this critical junction point.

The Roof After
After a few final touches, Andrew's new roof is officially complete-looking absolutely fantastic and ready to protect his home for decades to come!
