The Roof Before
Here's a look at the church before the roof renovation. Click through to see how we transformed it!

Before: Loose Shingles & Stains
This close-up aerial shot reveals the true extent of the damage - shingles buckling from water exposure and breaking apart in several areas. Time to give this roof the upgrade it deserves!

The Old Shingles Come Off
The crew gets to work tearing off the old shingles. This exposes the layer of plywood sheets underneath, which is called the roof sheathing. The roof sheathing is the structural foundation of the entire roof.

Seams Are Taped & Underlayment Is Installed
The crew reinforces the sheathing by taping up the seams of each plywood sheet with all-weather deck tape. Next, they install a layer of underlayment over the entire surface. This thin, waterproof membrane protects the sheathing from damaging elements like wind, rain, snow, and ice.

The New Shingles Go On
Once all of the underlayment is in place, it's time to start installing the new IKO Dynasty shingles! These shingles are premium-laminated, architectural, and as durable as they are stylish. They come in many colors, and Paul has selected the timeless Summit Gray for the new roof.

The Roof After
After a few finishing touches, like installing ridge vents and caps, and securing flashing around all pipes, the church's new roof is officially complete!
