Before: Buckled & Stained
A closer look at this valley reveals significant water damage - stains, buckling shingles, and moss growth. It's definitely time for a new roof!

The Teardown Begins
The crew kicks off the process by removing the old shingles. Underneath these shingles is a layer of plywood called the roof sheathing. The sheathing is the structural framework of the entire roof.

The Sheathing Is Examined
The crew closely inspects the sheathing for any signs of rot or mold. Any affected areas - like the one shown here - are promptly removed and replaced with fresh new plywood, ensuring a solid base for Doreen's new roof.

Underlayment Installed
Once all of the necessary sheathing is replaced, the seams of each plywood board are reinforced with heavy-duty deck tape for extra durability. Next, a layer of underlayment is applied. This thin, water-resistant material protects the sheathing from rain, snow, and ice.

New Shingles Go On
Once the decking is fully covered in underlayment, the crew gets to work installing the new shingles. We're proud to use IKO Dynasty premium-laminated shingles for our customers. Doreen chose the sleek, sophisticated Summit Gray for her roof!

Ridge Vent Installed
A vent is installed at each ridge of the roof. This vent ensures proper air circulation, allowing hot, humid air that rises from the house to escape, preventing condensation buildup.

After: The Finished Look
After a few final touches, the new roof is complete - looking fantastic and ready to stand strong for years to come!
