Before: Moss & Weathered Shingles
Linda's roof was covered in heavy moss growth and noticeable stains from years of water damage. When water seeps between shingles, it creates the perfect environment for moss to thrive - especially in heavily shaded areas surrounded by trees, like Linda's home.

The Old Roof Is Removed
The roofing team kicks off the renovation by stripping away not just the shingles but also the underlying plywood, known as the roof decking. Due to the severity of the water damage, the entire decking needed to be replaced to ensure a solid foundation for the new roof.

Seams Are Taped & Shield Is Applied
Once all the new plywood is securely in place, the crew strengthens the decking by taping the seams up with heavy-duty deck tape. Next, they apply the Ice & Water Shield, adding a protective layer to guard against future water damage.

New Shingles Are Installed
Next, the crew installs IKO Dynasty shingles in beautiful Atlantic Blue. These shingles are designed for superior durability and exceptional resistance to moisture damage.

The new roof is officially done! With fresh decking and ultra-durable shingles designed to handle tough conditions - and backed by a 50-year warranty - Linda can rest easy, knowing her home is protected from leaks and mold for decades.
