The Old Roof
This old roof was faded and has some lichen growth. These issues can indicate weakened shingles. Weakened shingles leave the home vulnerable, which is why this roof needed to be replaced.
The Shingles are Removed
Our crew removed the shingles from this roof, revealing the wood decking underneath. At this stage in the roof replacement process, our crew takes a look at the existing wood decking, and makes replacements where necessary.
Underlayment is Installed
This photo shows our hard working crew members installing underlayment onto the roof. The blue tape is decking tape, which is used to seal the edges of the plywood sheets. The white material towards the bottom of the roof is Ice and Water Shield. The brown material being installed by a crew members is Velora One Underlayment.
Shingle Install
Our crew installed the new IKO Dynasty shingles from the edge of the roof, up towards the ridge. This technique overlaps the shingles, forcing water to slide off of the roof, rather than seep in through the cracks.
The Finished Product
This roof looks fantastic! Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated crew, and our high-quality materials, this roof is both durable and beautiful.
