The Original Roof
This sloped roof section is being replaced by Brown Roofing. This roofing section needed to be replaced due to leaking.
Finding Damages
This photo shows our crew members removing the old shingles from the roof, and revealing the wood deking underneath. In this photo, a lot of damage is visible. The dark sports on this roof are wood rot and leaks. Our crew will need to remove these areas in order to make the new roof as safe as possible.
Installing the New Wood Decking
After all of the damaged wood decking has been removed, it is time to install the new plywood. The new wood decking will need to support all of the other roofing materials that are yet to be installed, so it needs to be strong and sturdy,
Underlayment and Shingles
In this photo, all of the underlayment has already been applied to the new roof. Underneath the underlayment decking tape has been used to seal the edges of the plywood. Next, our crew installed Ice and Water Shield and Velora One Underlayment. These protective measures will prevent water damages such as wood rot and leaks.
The Finishing Touches
This roof section now has all new shingles, and a new ridge vent installed. This building is now better protected, and leaks and wood rot are problems of the past.
