Before a Visit from Brown Roofing
Before the Brown Roofing team started work on this roof, the worn out and aged shingles were holding this home back from looking its best.
Removing the Old Shingles
Our crew works hard to removal the shingles from the roof. This will reveal the wood decking underneath. Because this roof is 25 years old, the wood underneath the shingles may be damaged and in need of replacement
Replacing the Old Wood Decking
Once all of the shingles are removed from the roof, our team examines the wood decking. If any damaged plywood is found, it will be replaced with new plywood. In the above photo, bright new plywood can be seen among the darker sheets of wood decking. This process helps ensure a safe and damage free roof.
Underlayment Protects the New Roof
After new plywood has been installed, decking tape is used to seal the edges of each sheet. Underlayment is then laid all over the roof, protecting the wood from water damage.
The Job is Almost Complete
In this photo we can see one of our crew members hard at work installing shingles. IKO Dynasty shingles were used for this new roof, in the color Driftshake.
A New Roof and a New Look
The Brown Roofing team has created a reliable new roof, and a flattering new look for this home. Now that this job is complete, this customer can be confident in the quality and appearance of their roof.
